Our business model is aimed at providing a lower cost of ownership to our clients for their IT Support. The reality is that comparing hourly rates does not reflect directly in the total cost of ownership. Getting some who has a cheap hourly rate who then spends three times as long fixing the problem is more expensive. Also, if they are cheaper (and because they are cheaper they need to bill more hours per week) it usually means that you have to wait longer for a response. The most expensive part of having computer systems in a business is paying your staff to use them.

In fact, we do most of our support work without leaving the office, and most problems are fixed for the cost of 15 minutes of our time. This is because we work smarter by setting up the ability to solve problems using remote access and phone support.
